To Strengthen the Capacity of Community Coalitions to Create and Maintain Safe, Healthy and Drug-Free Communities.
CADCA supports its members with training and technical assistance, public policy advocacy, media strategies and marketing programs, conferences and special events.
An Organization of Excellence Building Drug-Free Communities.
Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) works on behalf of over 5,000 community coalitions from across the country to realize its vision. More than any other entity, community coalitions are poised to connect multiple sectors of the community, including businesses, parents, media, law enforcement, schools, faith organizations, health providers, social service agencies, and government. By acting in concert through the coalition, all of the partners gain a more complete understanding of the community's problems. Together, the partners organize and develop plans and programs to coordinate their anti-drug efforts. The result is a comprehensive, community-wide approach to substance abuse and its related problems.
Please visit www.cadca.org to sign up for a weekly newsletter email that will keep you up to date with new webcasts, updated information regarding anti-drug efforts, and so much more to help us keep our youth on the right path! These newsletters are posted each week on our website, so please check back often to keep up to date with all of their helpful tips for raising substance-free kids in today's society!
